Welcome to komedi! The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to komedi, the premium medical-beauty platform operated by onamu Inc.

komedi operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, in order to provide customers with fast-track connections to Korea's top-tier partner hospitals and a premium medical concierge experience (the "Services"). komedi is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, you must not use or access our Services.


Article 1 - Access and Accounts

  1. By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority under the laws of your country or state of residence, and that you consent to allowing any minor dependents in your care to use the Services.

  2. To use our platform and make a medical reservation, you must accurately provide certain information such as your email address, phone number, and billing and payment details. You warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

  3. You are solely responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.


Article 2 - Medical Reservation Products and Scope of Service

  1. The items listed on this platform are not physical products but "digital reservation vouchers" and fast-track services for accessing Korean medical institutions.

  2. We make every effort to accurately represent information about each hospital's procedures (e.g., Ulthera, thread lifting, comprehensive health checkups) and before-and-after videos on the platform. However, the on-screen display may vary depending on the settings or environment of your individual device.

  3. All service descriptions and deposit amounts are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue the intermediary service for any particular hospital or procedure at any time.


Article 3 - Reservation Requests and Deposit Payment

  1. Completing an order through the platform expresses your intent to purchase a hospital reservation and concierge service.

  2. To securely reserve a treatment schedule at a Korean partner hospital, you will pay a "reservation deposit" of KRW 100,000 (KRW 100,000 / or the equivalent amount in local currency).

  3. [Payment structure]: The KRW 100,000 paid on this platform is a deposit for "reservation confirmation and rapid matching." Any remaining out-of-pocket cost for the final procedure, surgery, or treatment you actually receive at the hospital must be paid directly to that hospital after you arrive on-site.

  4. After payment is completed, the reservation is officially confirmed from the moment the digital voucher is sent to the email address designated by the patient. Cancellation of your purchase and refund of the amount can be processed only in accordance with our Refund Policy.


Article 4 - Shipping Disclaimer (No Physical Shipping)

  1. komedi does not sell or ship physical products. Accordingly, shipping provisions regarding delivery delays, loss, or damage due to logistics do not apply to this Service.

  2. All reservation confirmations and digital vouchers are sent digitally to the email address you entered, immediately (within a few minutes) after payment is completed. All shipping-related costs are entirely waived (KRW 0).


Article 5 - Pricing and Billing

  1. Deposit prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice.

  2. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information for every purchase made on our platform. You agree to promptly update your email address, credit card number, and expiration date so that transactions can be completed and we can contact you if necessary.

  3. You warrant that the payment information you provide is true and accurate and that you are duly authorized to use the payment method (PayPal or credit card) for the purchase.


Article 6 - Intellectual Property

  1. All of our Services, including every brand name, text, display, image, graphic, product review, video, and audio (including Shorts widget videos), together with their design, selection, and arrangement, are owned by komedi, its affiliates, or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

  2. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, republish, or transmit any material within the Services without our prior written consent. The komedi name, logo, product names, and slogans are our exclusive trademarks.


Article 7 - Optional Tools and Third-Party Links

  1. For patient convenience, this platform may include optional tools and links provided by third parties, such as Google Maps and social-media login widgets.

  2. We provide these third-party tools "as is" and do not control or warrant their accuracy or security. We are not responsible for any harm arising from your access to or use of third-party websites, and it is your responsibility to review the relevant third party's policies before any transaction.


Article 8 - Relationship with Shopify (No-Deletion and No-Modification Clause)

komedi is hosted and powered on the e-commerce platform provided by Shopify Inc. However, all reservations and deposit transactions made on this platform are made directly with komedi (onamu Inc.).

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify bears no legal responsibility for any activity between you and komedi (including any damage or loss arising from reservations, deposit payments, or the use of medical services). You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from any and all claims arising out of or related to the transaction.


Article 9 - Privacy

All personal information and medical-reservation inquiries we collect through the Services are handled with strict security in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Because the Service is hosted on Shopify, data may be securely transmitted and shared internationally for system stability and payment processing.


Article 10 - Prohibited Uses

You may not access or use this site and the Services for any of the following purposes:

  • Any unlawful or malicious purpose, or any act that violates international law or domestic ordinances;

  • Any act that infringes our or another party's intellectual property rights;

  • Transmitting false or misleading information (such as impersonating another person);

  • Uploading viruses or malicious code that could affect the functionality or operation of the Services;

  • Using robots, spiders, scraping, automated processes, or AI tools (such as agentic AI) to access the Services or extract data without our prior authorization;

  • We reserve the right to immediately suspend your account or cancel your reservation without prior notice if we determine that you have used the Services for a prohibited purpose.


Article 11 - Medical Warranty and Limitation of Liability (Key High-End Medical Clause)

To the fullest extent permitted by local law, the patient must decide whether to undergo treatment at their own responsibility before making a reservation.

  2. [Limitation of medical liability]: komedi (onamu Inc.) is a platform company that provides medical coordination, reservation, administrative support, and interpretation services. We do not perform direct medical diagnosis, surgical prescription, or clinical procedures. All legal responsibility for the results, efficacy, side effects, and clinical outcomes of any procedure or surgery performed at a hospital you reserve rests, in accordance with the Medical Service Act, entirely with the certified Korean medical institution and the attending specialist who directly performed the procedure. We assume no legal responsibility whatsoever for clinical outcomes.

  3. In no event shall komedi, our partners, officers, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services, whether in contract or tort (including negligence).


Article 12 - Indemnification and Release

You agree to defend and indemnify komedi, Shopify, and our affiliates, partners, officers, and employees from any and all claims, legal costs, and liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms of Service, your infringement of a third party's rights, or your improper use of the Services.


Article 13 - Severability and Entire Agreement

  1. Even if any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful or unenforceable under applicable law, that portion shall be ineffective only to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

  2. These Terms of Service, together with the operating rules posted on the platform (such as the Refund and Privacy Policies), constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all prior oral or written proposals.


Article 14 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and all contractual procedures under which we provide the Services to you shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, the jurisdiction in which komedi's head office is located. You and komedi agree that the Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising during use of the Services.

  2. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or replace any part of these terms by posting updates on this website. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
