komedi is a platform that provides digital medical-appointment services; it does not sell or ship any physical products. To confirm a fast-track consultation at one of Korea's top-tier partner hospitals or medical institutions, the customer pays a reservation deposit of KRW 100,000 (or the equivalent amount in local currency).

1. Cancellation and Full-Refund Criteria

  • If a cancellation is requested at least 24 hours before the confirmed hospital appointment time, the reservation deposit paid will be refunded in full (100%).
  • Because this is a digital reservation service that involves no logistics or shipping, no return-shipping fee or separate cancellation fee is charged whatsoever.

2. How to Request a Refund

  • If you wish to cancel your reservation and receive a refund of your deposit, please email our customer support desk (wslee@5tree.co.kr) together with the reservation confirmation number you were issued.
  • Once internal approval is completed, the amount is automatically refunded to your original payment method (PayPal or credit card) within 3-5 business days.

3. Same-Day Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • In the case of a sudden cancellation made less than 24 hours before the appointment time, or a same-day no-show without prior notice, the deposit may be forfeited and non-refundable in accordance with the reservation-management rules of the partner hospital.

komedi does not ship any form of physical product. Every item you pay for on our platform is a "digital reservation confirmation voucher" for safely accessing medical services in the Republic of Korea.

  • Method of delivery: Immediate digital data transmission (email).
  • Time of delivery: Once the reservation deposit of KRW 100,000 has been successfully paid, the digital voucher and fast-track schedule details are automatically sent to your registered email address within a few minutes.
  • Shipping cost: Because there is no physical logistics or packaging process, shipping is entirely free of charge (KRW 0).

Article 1 (Purpose and Scope of the Service) komedi is a specialized medical coordination platform that matches global patients with leading Korean medical institutions. The KRW 100,000 paid on this site is a "reservation deposit" to secure a fast-track appointment. Any remaining out-of-pocket cost for the actual consultation, procedure, or surgery you receive at the hospital must be paid directly, on-site, at that hospital after you arrive.

Article 2 (Limitation of Medical Liability and Disclaimer) komedi supports non-clinical logistics services such as patient scheduling, reservation on your behalf, interpretation, and concierge assistance. We do not perform direct medical diagnosis, prescription, or clinical procedures. All medical liability and legal responsibility for the results of any surgery or procedure rest, in accordance with the Medical Service Act, with the certified Korean medical institution and the attending specialist who directly performed the procedure.

Article 3 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) The laws of the Republic of Korea shall be the governing law for any dispute arising between the company and the user in connection with these terms and the use of the service, and the courts of the Republic of Korea shall have jurisdiction.
